Here is the official trailer for the newly updated 2012 version of the game with excellent breathtaking graphics!
It features one of my favorite songs from the game, "Thank you" along with "Shinshu Field".
The newer HD version is only available for the PS3, so get it while it lasts! The difference in quality is night and day!
HD is most definitely clearer and sharper compared to the Wii and PS2 versions.




Why Okami?

Okami has been my all-time favorite game, second right behind Pokemon, being my first.
Okami was first released back in 2006, and was a huge hit in 2007 when the Wii came out.
It had earned a 9.5 out of 10 game rating! The story is incredible, you will never get bored! Seriously!
The neat thing about Okami is its huge dependence on old-fashioned Japanese water color artwork. This is a huge 
jump in graphics since 2007 Wii graphics were not all that great eight years ago. The other thing that made it
widely popular was the immense detail to Japanese culture and lore/legends. Nearly everything in the game is related to
a story in the game; the tree arrangement, rock formations, characters, and even the main story touches upon Japan's history 
and best folklore stories! I can guarantee you will be fascinated with this game! It's not too challenging, so anyone could play if they wanted!
I have yet to come across any glitches in this game, the playthrough is very smooth and the animations beautiful and breathtaking!
One of my favorite parts amung games is the storyline, but also the character designs and backgrounds. Okami nailed it.
Waka, Oki, and all those favorites have earned a huge part of my heart and I will forever remember my first playthrough.
Did I mention the music?
OHMYGAWD the music is beautiful! I have every single one on my MP3, and listen to it every time I commute to college!
The music is all Japanese-based, making the flutes and the strings sing with their symphonic melodies! AGH I can't get enough!
I often listen to the songs while I draw, but I don't have a proper playlist for my computer in order to LiveStream it. I'll do that sometime.



If you don't want to play the game, you can also watch it! Chuggaconroy has been a favorite of mine with his amazing Playthroughs!
He doesn't use language all that often, and has these great corny puns that I just love so much!
