Chapter 1)

Lightning ripped through the sky, thunder tailing it only a few seconds after its’ white light lit up the surrounding grasslands. Stallions could be heard from all around as swords and iron clad hooves clashed together. The night was ablaze with a fierce fire that rose into the sky, stretching its wings like the golden phoenix. Info: Brickrack does not like to mention his full name, and likes to go by his first instead. He is a skilled warrior with the sword and battle shoes. He is also the mentor and teacher of River, who was practically raised by him. His unusual eye color makes him stand out in the market crowds while babysitting River, so he often wears brown eye contacts to blend in. If he doesn't, many will fear him, as the old legend goes: "He who bears the red eyes of Nightingclaw, blood from those near shall spill". Brickrack doesn't remember much of his past, but the King (the Prince of Water Veil at the time) took him in as his own special servant, regardless of the Red Eyes legend. From this day on, he serves the King faithfully and to his fullest extent.
